Tong Zepeng
Assistant researcher
Tong Zepeng, the project leader has established significant expertise in cloud and precipitation physics through extensive research, demonstrating distinctive strengths in observational technology development and physical mechanism studies. Academic contributions include 5 first/corresponding-author publications in core journals such as Atmospheric Research (CAS Zone 1; IF=6.0), along with leadership of two provincial/ministerial-level research projects that built systematic technical capabilities. Practically, the leader spearheaded the entire process of deploying and calibrating a Ka-band millimeter-wave cloud radar observation network in the study region, accumulating extensive experience in cloud microphysical parameter retrieval and precipitation particle phase identification. This integrated background yields a threefold advantage in academic foundation, technical proficiency, and comprehensive regional understanding.

Dilinur Tuliewubieke
Assistant researcher
Dilinur Tuliewubieke, graduated with a Master of Science degree in Meteorology from the School of Atmospheric Sciences, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology in June 2018. In July of the same year, she joined the Institute of Desert Meteorology, China Meteorological Administration and is currently engaged in research on climate change in arid regions. Presided over 4 autonomous region-level and bureau-level research projects. Published 7 SCI/core Chinese journal papers as first author, one of which was awarded the Outstanding Natural Science Academic Paper Prize at the 16th Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Academic Conference. Focused on transforming research outcomes and providing decision-making consultation recommendations. Served as a core team member for the Xinjiang Comprehensive Meteorological Drought Disaster Risk Survey, conducting hazard assessments and risk zoning for meteorological droughts in Xinjiang, and drafted technical specifications for the drought survey.
