Assisting the Director in the management of science and technology, foreign affairs, publicity, decision-making and consulting, ecological civilization construction, and popularization of meteorology, and contacting the Central Asian Weather and Climate Research Office and the Tree Rotation and Climate Research Office.
Deputy Director, Secretary of the First Party Branch
Assisting the Director in the management of planning and finance, scientific and technological support platforms, special projects for improving scientific research conditions, counterpart aid to Xinjiang, labor unions, and the Youth League Branch. Contact with Finance Section and Desert Boundary Layer Meteorological Research Laboratory.
Chief Engineer
Assist the Institute's leadership to be responsible for the technical management of the Institute's science and technology innovation development in the areas of major planning and key projects, as well as to promote the improvement of rules and regulations related to the reform of the Desert Institute.
