Introduction：Xie Xinrui, a research assistant at the Research Division of Central Asian Weather and Climate, Institute of Desert Meteorology, China Meteorological Administration (CMA) in Urumqi. Graduated with a Master’s degree in Meteorology in 2024 from Atmospheric Sciences, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology. Research interests include the mid-high latitude intraseasonal oscillations, spatiotemporal distribution of cloud water resources in Central Asia, and diagnosis, mechanisms, and prediction of extreme climate change.
