Introduction：As Professor of Climate Sciences, Institute of Desert Meteorology, China Meteorological Administration (CMA) in 2019. He is the Director of Xinjiang Key Laboratory of Tree-Ring Ecology. Ruibo focus on climatic variability and eco-environmental changes in arid Asia and Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. His study involves climate change, dendroclimatology, dendrohydrology, dendroglaciology, forest meteorology, forest carbon sink and climate model. He was Editorial Board Member of ‘forest’ and ‘Desert and oasis meteorology’ journal. He was also appointed as council of China Association for Scientific Exploration, standing council of the Professional Committee of Forestry Meteorology, the Forestry Society of China and council of tree-ring Research Branch, the Geographical Society of China. He is a reviewer for more than 30 international journals, including Nature.
