Introduction：Shujuan Li graduated with a Master of Science degree in Meteorology from the School of Atmospheric Sciences, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology in June 2013. In July of the same year, she joined the Institute of Desert Meteorology, China Meteorological Administration in Urumqi. Her primary research focuses on extreme event analysis, climate diagnostics, and the study of dynamic mechanisms. Since taking office, she has presided over 1 project of the Regional Natural Science Foundation, 1 project of the Central Asia Fund, and 1 project of the scientific research operation fund. She had also participated in more than ten projects, including 4 national-level projects, 1 provincial and ministerial-level project, and other projects, among which she was a key member in 1 national-level project. She had published more than 20 papers in core journals in total. In addition, She was a key participant in formulating and releasing 3 local standards, and participated in the compilation of several decision-making consultation reports. During her research, she has been engaged in research on such aspects as the verification and correction of climate model forecast effects, the forecast and early warning of snowmelt floods, and the assessment of climate resources.
