Introduction：Li Jiangang, Male, Han ethnicity, Member of the Communist Party of China. Holds a Master's degree. Accredited as Associate Research Fellow in 2017. Specializes in research on the mechanisms of disastrous weather in Central Asia, presided over 8 projects, including 1 national fund project, 3 provincial and ministerial-level projects and 3 department-level projects, has also been a key participant in ten projects of various types, including the National Key Research and Development Program, Xinjiang Natural Fund Key Projects, and the topics of the Autonomous Region Key Research and Development Program, has tackled the technical challenges in the localization identification indicators of Central Asian mesoscale convective systems (MCS), determined the warning levels of Central Asian MCS, systematically summarized the spatiotemporal distribution, formation mechanism, mesoscale characteristics, and the impact on precipitation areas of Xinjiang MCS, and developed the "Central Asian MCS Tracking and Warning Platform" for business application, has published 19 papers in total, granted 8 patents, completed three monographs, and has been awarded the Second Prize for Science and Technology Progress of Xinjiang Autonomous Region, the Second Prize for Meteorological Science and Technology Innovation of China Meteorological Service Association, and the title of "Xinjiang Meteorological High-level Backbone Talent".
